In collaboration with our advertising partner, Area 23, Mollie’s Fund will announce an exciting new PSA guaranteed to capture the attention of the public! We look forward to airing this commercial on national TV and through social media.

“Everything You Need to Know About Your Skin Exam” is a tri-fold brochure produced by Mollie’s Fund and the AIM Foundation. Mollie’s Fund was pleased to collaborate with AIM a CA-based non-profit which also educates patients and health care professionals and raises awareness of melanoma. We believe this resource will better educate the patient about their melanoma risks and support a dialogue between the patient and their dermatologist.

Maggie Biggane and Victoria Siegel represent Mollie’s
Fund as members of the New York State Cancer Prevention Coalition. Our subcommittee is dedicated to reducing the burden of skin cancer and melanoma for our state residents.

6 Hospitals in the CHLIH system on Long Island will now be implementing CDC skin cancer prevention guidelines on their Electronic Medical Records forms. These hospitals will join NYU Winthrop and Eastern Long Island Hospital educating and alerting patients about skin cancer during intake. Mollie’s Fund with Victoria Siegel’s support has also secured this monumental change on the EMR documents at NYU Winthrop and Eastern Long Island Hospital. Our intent is to push this initiative out throughout hospital communities.
