Dr. Victoria Siegel addresses nurses about their role in alerting patients about skin cancer and melanoma prevention. Dr. Siegel has written several articles about skin cancer and melanoma prevention. She currently teaches nursing students at Molloy College.

Over 120 teams from the Northeast will participate with over 4,000 players, coaches and parents participating. This tournament memorializes Jay Gallagher, GCHS’70 defenseman and tri-captain of the “Big Red” team. Jay helped his Cornell team reach the NCAA semi-finals. Jay passed away from melanoma at 39. Mollie’s Fund provides sunscreen, awareness brochures and hats.

Dr. Siegel is a nurse educator at Molloy College and she has written articles about the role of the nurse in skin cancer prevention.
