Mollie’s Fund supports the Health Services Departments of SUNY, Maritime College, Bronx, NY, Farmingdale State College and Westfield State University (MA) in their health awareness fairs and outreach programs with donations of educational materials, posters, hats and sunscreen.
As members of the Steering Committee of the newly formed Melanoma Action, Jack and Maggie welcome new members into our community-based foundation group. We will collaborate to learn how we can best support each other in melanoma prevention and skin cancer education initiatives.

This is an exciting collaboration of the melanoma community in our united fight against melanoma.
Jack and Maggie Biggane will participate in a Skype telephone conference call initiated by Dr. Victoria Siegel (Professor of Nursing) Molloy College and others on her faculty with their counterparts from Dundalk Institute of Technologies. The agenda will involve discussion and comparison of skin cancer prevention and outreach education in the US and Ireland. Skin cancer rates in Ireland have increased 39% in the past decade. This introduction foreshadows the trip of Dr. Siegel in May 18-20 with twenty Molloy nursing students to learn first-hand about skin cancer and melanoma prevention education in Ireland.
