Mollie's Story Header

As a sophomore in college, Mollie discovered a mole on her thigh. In the following six months, she underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. The Mollie Biggane Melanoma Foundation was created in her memory after her tragic death at the age of twenty.

Our mission is to increase awareness for melanoma prevention, provide information and services on skin cancer detection, and support melanoma patients through education of the latest treatments.

The Mollie Biggane Melanoma Foundation asks your help in supporting the efforts of the Melanoma Reseach Alliance/Danny Fund (Bruce Springsteen) to win a $250,000 grant from the Refresh Program. If awarded, the monies will fund high-impact research for a melanoma cure and support Mollie's Fund prevention and education programs. It takes seconds to register and then we need everyone to vote EACH day in May (Melanoma Awareness and Prevention Month) to make this initiative a reality. (If you miss a day, that's fine.) It costs nothing to vote and if we win this grant your support will help millions! Please circulate this request and post if you have a facebook page.

Vote for Melanoma Research Funding

The last time a new drug was approved for advanced melanoma was over a decade ago; 85% of people who take that drug get no benefit from it. We can do better you can help.
